Saturday 28th November, 2026, St John's Church Keynsham, Handel's 'Messiah'
In 1976 a group of singers assembled to rehearse and sing Handel's Messiah and the Chew Valley Choral Society was born. To celebrate our 50th anniversary we will be singing Messiah again with help from friends old and new. We are delighted that we will be joined for this concert by Henleaze Choral Society, members of Nailsea Choral Society, guests from other choirs and a specially assembled 'Anniversary Orchestra' for a truly collaborative event.
